Fun 2 Fly Texas, LLC. was a company started between two men who have the love for flying coursing through their veins. The interest was to try to get retired pilots off the ground and move flying from the imaginations of others into reality.
Fun 2 Fly Texas, LLC. currently caters to those seeking instruction for Light Sport and Private Pilot licenses. John Clark and Max Bolen have over 20 years experience flying under the Private Pilot designation. Max also is a CFI for Private Pilot and John is a CFI for Light Sport Pilot.
The Sport Pilot license was created in 2004 by the FAA to offer those who wanted to fly a different avenue to reach that objective. Also for those who have let their medical lapse or who have let their Private Pilot license expire due to lack of resources or a number of other factors, the Light Sport category offers a way to continue flying.
Fun 2 Fly Texas, LLC. currently operates out of Lancaster Municipal Airport (KLNC) and offers late afternoon and weekend instruction.
